TEKsystems is currently seeking a Network Performance Tool Engineer for a client in the northwest suburbs. This is not a hands on position, but more of a development and support opportunity. We are seeking someone with the following skill set:- Network Engineering Experience CCNA level experience minimum- Solid TCP/IP understanding- SNMP Experience (Preferably SNMP Traps experience) Day to day duties:- Working with various engineering departments like Network Surveillance to gather rules and requirements for the Network Performance Tools.- Engineering the Tools to the specifications determined by these groups.- Monitoring Traffic on these tools and assisting with any issues that may arise.- Creating reports with these tools based on what various departments are looking for.If you meet the requirements listed above and would like to be considered for this position please apply to this posting.
