Consulting engagement at a major organization in the travel service industry.

Upp is now seeking a:

Cisco Network Systems Analyst to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size enterprise level router and switched networks. This includes design implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. Strong understanding of switches and configurations.

DUTIES:

Construct an Microsoft Excel or Visio survey to collect detailed information about each application.
Assign application owners with limited guidance.
Work with the application owners to collect the data.
Ensure data collected is accurate and complete.
Enter the data into a Microsoft Excel/Visio/MS Word.

REQUIREMENTS:

Cisco Routers and Switch experience.
CCNA certification or like experience.
CCIE certification not necessary/overkill.
Visio/MS Excel/MS Word.
70% Documentation and reporting.
20% Interface and Communication.
10% Hands on Switch and router experience.
10% Hands on Switch and router experience.
Familiarity with applications technology areas (development platforms, middleware technologies, applications integration, mainframe applications).
