Network Engineer

CompTIA is currently recruiting a talented individual for the position of Network Engineer. The selected individual will perform duties to install, configure, secure, and maintain the network servers of the association.
Job Duties include:
• Assist users with hardware and software issues and answer questions on computer applications and network functions via Helpdesk Software.
• Support local and remote users on our standard desktop and laptop configurations.
• Implement and troubleshoot existing IT structure and software applications.
• Build and administer networks maintaining an external and internal web presence
• Quickly troubleshoot a wide range of staff support scenarios, including remote connectivity, DNS issues, and user account permissions.
• Maintain Department standards in support and deployment
• Maintain association IT Policies and Best Practices.
• Develop and test hardware and software solutions.
• Deploy and manage mobile Devices and accounts.
• Documentation of all activities into various Data Systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Include:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Fundamental knowledge of the Microsoft network architecture and related protocols
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• MCSA/MCITP certifications preferred
• CompTIA Network Plus, Security Plus, or A+ certifications preferred
