COD CCNA Security Certificate (4907)

So many of you are asking about the requirements for the College of DuPage CCNA Security Certification that I thought I would just put it on my blog. This certificate is new and became available after the CCNA Security curriculum was released by Cisco in July of 2009.

4907 CCNA Security

Catalog Description: The CCNA Security certificate meets the need of today's IT professionals responsible for network security. It validates the knowledge required to install, troubleshoot, and monitor Cisco security network devices. In addition, CCNA Security confirms an individual's skills for job roles such as network security specialist and security administrator.

Program Requirements
CIT 1121 Networking Fundamentals (3 credits)
CIT 1122 Routing Protocols and Concepts (3 credits)
CIT 1123 LAN Switching and Wireless (3 credits)
CIT 1124 Accessing the WAN (3 credits)
CIT 2251 CCNA Security (3 credits)
Total Hours 15
