Network Integration Manager - Oakbrook Terrace, IL

CompTIA is currently recruiting a talented individual for our Network Integration Manager position. The selected individual will be responsible for implementing, deploying and integrating information systems. The solutions must meet the company business needs, both internal and external. The manager will create process documents to serve as IT guidelines. Additionally, the position involves elevated system support for office and remote staff.
Job Duties include:
• Manage day to day execution of several key IT functions, including backups, networking, inventory, deployments and key projects.
• Assist in design and maintenance of systems that meet long term Association business projects.
• Develop integrated project plans, implementation schedules, and cost estimates for various projects.
• Produce and update process and technical documentation as appropriate.
• Test and recommend IT software and hardware for corporate standards.
• Develop, recommend, and maintain server systems and supporting software.
• Perform level II/Advanced support for worldwide staff and networks.
• Provide expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of business processes including analysis, design, redesign, reengineering and technical effectiveness.
• Coordinate with outside parties and consultants throughout projects, large and small.
• Maintain network integrity and security.
• Support local and remote users on our standard desktop and laptop configurations.
• Assist users with hardware and software issues and answer questions on computer application and network functions.
• Provide support for Network Engineers as needed.

Qualifications Include:
• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience
• Advanced IT Certifications required
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from Network support to critical architecture design
• Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional weekends, evenings and holidays
• Fundamental knowledge of the Microsoft Active Directory architecture, Microsoft Exchange 2007, VOIP
• Familiarity with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good customer service skills and the ability to teach and train staff in a productive and positive manner.
