Design and implement perimeter security for enterprise customer. Customer plans to upgrade their entire security infrastructure, going entirely Cisco, converting various firewalls currently in the mix. Contractor will fill one of several roles on the project: Network Infrastructure Consultant: Design and implement the core route/switch infrastructure and ensure proper integration of network elements with security infrastructure. Infrastructure will be Cisco Nexus core and Cisco security. Security Infrastructure Consultant: Design and implement security infrastructure elements including Cisco IDS/IPS/ASA/CSM/Mars. Convert from five different security firewall platforms to Cisco. The client also has a need to fill a senior cross over position which is a person that has the experience of both the Network and Security Infrastructure Consultant.
