The Office of Student Financial Aid is now accepting Scholarship Applications for the Fall Semester 2010. Currently, there are more than 50 scholarship opportunities ranging in awards from $250 to $6,000!! The deadline to apply is May 1, 2010!!!
Some new scholarships are being offered for the first time:
Lillian Neale Campbell Scholarship (Financial Need). . . 10 awards at $1,500 each
Earl E. Swanson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship (Art majors). . . . 1 at $1,000 each
Louis J. Mannion Scholarship for Fathers. . . 1 awards at $1,000
Power Construction Company Scholarship (Construction Management)…2 @ $2,500
H. Claire Walters, RN Memorial Scholarship…1 @ $2,000
Joos Memorial Scholarship…1 @ $500
Other scholarships include:
Naperville Rotary Charities & the Rotary Club of Naperville…5 @ up to $6,000
Barth Engineering/Computer Science Scholarship…1 @ $1,500
There are plenty more scholarship opportunities for females, single parents, ethnic minorities, academic excellence, as well as for students pursuing a degree in nursing, music, criminal justice to just name a few.
