Please encourage students to pursue internships… I offer three internship search and success seminars most weeks. Students seeking internships or coops will be approved through the Cooperative Education and Internship Program (CEIP) and then may access details through the college electronic job board (CCN): www.collegecentral.com/dupage

The approval process includes an online orientation plus attendance at an Internship Information Session or individual coaching by CEIP staff. Each student is responsible for obtaining a position offer from an employer listing with COD or that is developed through a self-directed search. Students obtaining positions may enroll for academic credit through a cooperative education course, if prerequisites are met. Work-based learning is valuable to career development because Experience Matters!
